Phonics Tutor is a Learn to Read program for preschool to first grade–aged children with 128 lessons. The program is not designed with colorful graphics or cartoon characters. A narrator sounds out letters and words.

The interactivity consists of clicking on appropriate letters or words. Without more interactivity and animated graphics, we feel children will easily become bored.

The Phonics Tutor website provides telephone and email contact information, but they did not return our email and their FAQs page does not cover technical problems.

Although Phonics Tutor has 128 lessons, we recommend one of our top rated products like ClickN’ Read because the price is comparable and they have high quality graphics and animated characters.
